Photography captures a moment in time. Journaling supplies a platform for story telling and dialogue. In this week long workshop students will explore the interplay of these two media and how images respond to one another when placed within a collective. Come explore the relationships between your photographs in this weeklong workshop. Learn the basics of book binding, photographic composition, and page layout as you create your own personalized photo journal.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY OF PLACE
Each place has it’s own unique spirit, slant of light, and combination of natural elements. This workshop will explore sites in Napeague and beyond, with a focus on the art of composition and the technical aspects of your camera. Participants will learn how to consistently create good photographs while exploring beautiful locations.
