Participants will learn the basics of the monotype, or “oneoff” print. Students will experiment with lexiglass monoprints, gel plates, trace monotypes and learn the tricks to carving and printing linoleum. A range of printing pigment, ink, marking tools and paper will be explored, laying the groundwork for layered and luscious prints.
